By using Ballot Forge ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Ballot Forge provides tools for creating and managing online elections and votes. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@ballotforge.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create using Ballot Forge, including election names, questions, options, and voter data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the Service.
You represent that you have the right to upload voter contact information and that voters have consented to receive communications related to your elections.
Ballot Forge provides technical tools for running elections. We are not responsible for the outcomes of elections, disputes between voters and election administrators, or the validity of election results under any external rules or bylaws. You are responsible for ensuring your elections comply with any applicable organizational rules, laws, or regulations.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. As an election administrator, you are a data controller for your voters' information and are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR or CCPA) when collecting and processing voter data.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime, particularly during active elections. For critical elections, we recommend testing your setup well in advance.
Ballot Forge is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce pricing in the future and will provide advance notice to existing users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ballot Forge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may modify these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
